Parimarjan Plus Bihar: Correct Your Jamabandi Online (Patna 2026)

How to apply on Parimarjan Plus, step by step

Keep two PDFs ready before you start: the filled affidavit and your proof. Both lists are in the next section.

1. Open biharbhumi.bihar.gov.in and click "Parimarjan Plus". Direct link: parimarjanplus.bihar.gov.in
2. Log in with your mobile number. First time? Register first.
3. Choose the application type (the table below tells you which).
4. Search for your jamabandi and click the (→) button next to it. The full jamabandi opens.
5. Mark YES on the section that has the mistake: raiyat details, land details or rent.
6. Mark "परिवर्तन अनुरोध" (change request) as YES on each line you want changed, and type the correct entry.
7. Upload your proof and press Preview. Spot an error? Use Edit.
8. If all is right, upload the affidavit and finalise. Note down the acknowledgement number.

The department's manual and FAQ mention no fee for applying. Be careful if anyone asks for a "correction fee".

Which application should you choose?

"Old jamabandi" means one from before online mutation started in 2017-18, copied from the paper register into the computer. The department's FAQ accepts that mistakes can creep in during this digitisation.

What papers do you need?

The affidavit is required in every application. Other papers depend on the mistake. From the department's user manual:

What goes in the affidavit?

The format is under "Affidavit" on the portal: affidavit PDF (in Hindi). You fill in:

• Your name, father's or husband's name, mauza, thana number, halka, circle and district.
• The jamabandi's volume number, page number and jamabandi number.
• A statement that the details are true and that you own the land.
• Mobile number and signature.

The affidavit also says legal action can follow if a check finds the details false. So only ask for corrections you have papers for.

How to check Parimarjan Plus status

1. Open Track Application.
2. Pick the right type at the top: rectification in digitized jamabandi, or digitization of a missed jamabandi.
3. Choose district Patna, your circle, enter the application number and the security code.

• Did the CO send it back? If the CO has an objection, the application comes back with a comment. It shows on your home screen after login. Fix it there and resubmit. Bihar Bhumi also has a list of returned applications: "परिमार्जन प्लस आवेदन स्थिति देखें (अंचलाधिकारी द्वारा वापस किया गया)". Search it by district, circle, halka and mauza.
• Applied during the Revenue Maha-Abhiyan? Those have a separate status page: "राजस्व महा-अभियान आवेदन की स्थिति देखें".

What happens after you apply, and how long it takes

• The application goes to the CO of your circle. The CO checks your proof against circle records, then corrects the online jamabandi.
• Separate department letters set the procedure for old-jamabandi corrections and for missed jamabandis (see sources).
• How many days: the department's FAQ and manual give no fixed time. We couldn't find the deadlines reported in newspapers on any government page, so we don't quote a number.
• Stuck for long? Visit the circle office with your acknowledgement number, or call the helpline 1800-345-6215.

Wrong mauza, or a mistake after online mutation

• Jamabandi online under another mauza, or jamabandis of two or three mauzas put under one? Parimarjan Plus doesn't handle this. Give an offline application to the Circle Officer, who opens the records and acts on it.
• A jamabandi created by online mutation has a wrong or missing buyer, seller or raiyat name? Or a wrong rent or boundary? Apply on Parimarjan Plus.
• For khata, khesra or area mistakes in that kind of jamabandi, the FAQ gives no separate route. Ask your circle office first.

Buying or selling land in Patna? Why Parimarjan comes first

• Buyers: if the seller's jamabandi isn't online and correct, your mutation (dakhil-kharij) can get stuck. Have the seller fix it through Parimarjan before the registry.
• Sellers: fix it before you look for a buyer, so the deal doesn't stall halfway. Full list: fix land papers before selling.
• Land survey: Many Patna villages are in the self-declaration stage of the survey. Form 2 asks for the jamabandi number and a rent receipt. A wrong jamabandi is better fixed before the survey.

What should you do?

• Check your jamabandi yourself first. Match the name, khata, khesra, area, boundaries and rent with your sale deed and rent receipt.
• Put all the mistakes in one application. Attach clear, readable PDFs of each proof, so the CO can check them easily.
• Keep the acknowledgement number and check the status every week. A returned application shows on your home screen.
• After the correction, confirm the online jamabandi has really changed. Then pay the land rent (rasid).
• Avoid agents who say "pay us and we'll fix the jamabandi". You can apply online yourself.

1. How do I log in to Parimarjan Plus?

   Open "Parimarjan Plus" on Bihar Bhumi and log in with your mobile number. First time? Register with that mobile number first.

2. Can I apply from outside Patna or abroad?

   Yes, the whole application is online. Keep PDFs of the proof and affidavit ready. If the CO returns it, that also shows online.

3. The jamabandi is in my father's or grandfather's name. How do I get it in mine?

4. Can parimarjan move someone else's land into my name?

   No. Parimarjan only fixes digitisation mistakes. The CO checks every application, and the affidavit warns of legal action for false details.

5. My application was returned. What now?

   Read the CO's comment on the returned application. Add the papers or details asked for, correct the same application and send it again.
