Danapur circle, Bhu Naksha name, CO contact, registry office and the Master Plan 2031 rules that apply — in one page.
Land in Danapur is handled by the Danapur circle (anchal) in Danapur sub-division. On the Bhu Naksha portal the circle is listed as "Dinapur-Cum-Khagaul". Danapur has its own sub-registry office, paperless since 17 August 2026. In Patna Master Plan 2031, 34 revenue villages of Danapur-Khagaul block plus the Danapur and Khagaul urban bodies are inside the Patna Planning Area. Danapur is not part of the Patliputra township special area.
Colony names and circle names often don't match. Go by the lagan receipt, jamabandi and deed — the mauza and circle printed there decide where your mutation will happen.
Plots right next to cantonment land can face building restrictions. Ask before buying whether a map approval has been issued on that strip.
The Master Plan does not allow development between a river and its embankment (conservation zone, PMP p71, p274). For any plot on the Ganga side, ask which side of the bandh it is.
If the plot faces Danapur–Digha Road, Khagaul Road or the Didarganj–Danapur bypass, check the widening line before you pay for "main road frontage".
For apartments, check RERA registration and the approved map first — our flat checklist covers the full list.
