Land in Naubatpur is handled by the Naubatpur circle (anchal) in Danapur sub-division. 48 revenue villages of Naubatpur block and Naubatpur Nagar Panchayat are in the Patliputra township special area (Notification 4655). There, buying and selling is open again since 1 August 2026 (Notification 8024), but development and construction stay barred till 30 March 2027. Outside the township, Patna Master Plan 2031 covers 93 villages of the block and names Naubatpur a growth node.
